Job Description
Join our team at Gentiva Hospice as a Registered Nurse and contribute to providing physical, spiritual, and emotional support to patients and their families. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care services and managing an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care. You will also evaluate patient/family needs and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to patients and families.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to improve hospice care quality.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and contribute to the plan of care execution.
- Maintain patient clinical records and engage in quality improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and families.
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
