Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care services, managing interdisciplinary groups, evaluating patient/family needs, and maintaining clinical records. This role requires someone with at least 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of care plans.
- Maintain all assigned patient clinical records.
- Participate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
- Current RN license in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
