Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services and support to patients and their families. You will be responsible for managing patient care plans, maintaining clinical records, and ensuring the highest quality of hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to patients and families with a reasonable case load.
- Manage an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient and family needs and assist in developing and executing individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical records.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and families.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
