Job Description
Join our compassionate team at Gentiva Hospice as a Registered Nurse. In this role, you will provide direct patient care services, manage an interdisciplinary group, and maintain patient records. You'll be a crucial liaison between physicians, patients, and the hospice team, ensuring the highest quality of care. Compassion, empathy, and a current RN license are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to hospice patients and their families
- Manage an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care
- Evaluate patient needs and contribute to individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient clinical records
- Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs
Requirements
- Compassionate and empathetic disposition
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology
