Job Description
Gentiva Hospice, a member of the Gentiva family and a leader in hospice care, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care services, manage an interdisciplinary group, evaluate patient needs, and maintain clinical records. Your dedication will contribute to enhancing the quality of hospice care and making a positive impact on patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and supportive services to hospice patients and their families
- Manage an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care delivery
- Evaluate patient needs and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical records
- Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs to enhance care standards
Requirements
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology
