Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services and support to hospice patients and their families. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients with a reasonable case load.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient and family needs and assist in developing care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient clinical records.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of employment or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing exceptional care.
