Job Description
Gentiva Hospice, a member of the Gentiva family, is looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and their families while managing an interdisciplinary group to ensure high-quality care. You will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, coordinating care plans, and maintaining clinical records, all while participating in quality assessment programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to hospice patients
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of care
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in care plan preparation
- Maintain patient clinical records
- Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs
Requirements
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and families
- Current RN license (or ability to obtain one)
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology
