Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice, a leading provider of hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care, supporting patients and their families, and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients with a reasonable case load.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of care plans.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient clinical records.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
