Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice, a leading provider of hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services and support to patients and their families, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to patients and their families within a reasonable case load.
• Manage an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of hospice care, including Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and support staff.
• Evaluate patient and family needs, and contribute to the preparation and execution of individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient clinical records.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.

Requirements

• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
• Current RN license in the state of requested employment or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
