Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse interested in working one-on-one with patients in a home health setting? ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across Delaware. Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care with families and healthcare providers, and building positive relationships with patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Attend a two-week daytime orientation.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
