Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care as per physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to the supervisor or physician.
  • Document all activities, assessments, and care actions promptly.
  • Participate in implementing and updating nursing care plans.
  • Take necessary nursing actions based on assessment to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs to prevent risks.
  • Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care, and prevention strategies.
  • Maintain nursing competencies through educational programs and skill evaluations.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience as a practicing nurse preferred.
  • Active nursing license in good standing.
  • Current CPR Certification.
