Job Description
We are looking for a talented Principal Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Windows technology to join our team at Discover Financial Services. As a key member of our Agile infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-impact engineering solutions and driving innovation in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product delivery aligning with strategic direction across Business Technology.
- Lead team agile ceremonies, presentations, and mentor new engineers.
- Bridge business features to technology capabilities through effective design and execution.
- Research and adopt new technologies to enhance technical capabilities.
- Continuously learn and educate engineering teams on industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or DevOps.
- Internal technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus engineering scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with innovative solutions.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies and compliance standards.
- Experience in incident, problem, and escalation management with a customer focus.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, SCCM, Group Policy, and other relevant technologies.

Compensation: Base pay ranges from $104,000.00 to $175,600.00 with additional incentives.
