Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a National Payer Account Executive specializing in Medicaid to manage the relationship with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts. The role involves implementing market access strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving revenue through negotiated agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharma/biopharmaceuticals, leadership experience, and expertise in healthcare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Develop market access strategies for Jazz products within assigned Medicaid accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in National Accounts.
• Lead cross-organizational projects and teams to overcome access obstacles.
• Negotiate rebate agreements in compliance with company guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience.
• Demonstrated success in Account Management focused on Medicaid.
• Proficiency in healthcare reimbursement, formulary development, and compliance laws.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specialty products and rare disease drugs.
• Clinical knowledge in therapeutic areas like Sleep/Neuroscience or Oncology.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
