Job Description

We are hiring a Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This is a full-time night shift position with great benefits, including eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. As a Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician, you will work in partnership with registered nurses to deliver safe and compassionate care to patients. Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of care in a safe patient environment.
• Communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks under supervision.
• Document data, report observations, and ensure safety precautions.
• Obtain and record vital signs, monitor patients' condition, and respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist with mobility, ADLs, patient transport, and basic housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
• Participate in Purposeful Hourly Rounding and Bedside Shift Report.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties assigned by the unit.
• Assist patients with range of motion and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Competency in at least two areas of practice.
• Preferred: Minimum of two years experience in acute or long-term care, CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, proficiency in phlebotomy.
