Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker and play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and ensure merchandise displays are tidy
- Deliver exceptional customer service and report product issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and follow cash handling policies
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock and rotate products, create appealing displays, and manage inventory
- Operate machinery safely and adhere to merchandising guidelines
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of retail products and services
- Training provided for equipment operation
