Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our ALDI team. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and report relevant information to supervisors.

• Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data.

• Cashier Responsibilities: Process purchases, stock merchandise, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage inventory.

• Stocker Responsibilities: Maintain product freshness, create merchandised displays, handle inventory efficiently, and operate machinery safely.

Physical Demands

• Requirements include sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 45 pounds, and other physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Provide excellent customer service and follow company policies.

• Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.

• Retail experience is a plus.

• Training provided for required tasks.
