Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at ALDI. As a Cashier, you will process customer purchases, maintain a clean shopping environment, and provide exceptional customer service. Stockers are responsible for stocking shelves, rotating products, and operating machinery safely. Both roles involve collaborating with team members, adhering to company policies, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Common Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information.
• Maintain store security and uphold confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning and organizational duties.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases and provide excellent service.
• Stock merchandise displays neatly and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create well-merchandised displays.
• Operate machinery safely and follow all safety procedures.
• Organize inventory and maintain a clean store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
