Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join the ALDI team. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers. The position offers variety and the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility.
• Perform cashier or stocker duties assigned by the management.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Report any product issues or inventory discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves, rotate products for freshness, and create visually appealing displays.
• Organize inventory, operate machinery safely, and follow all safety protocols.
• Handle product weight of up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and maintain a clean work area.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of company products and services.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is a plus.
