Overnight LPN

Job Description

We are looking for an Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our dedicated team at Aveanna Healthcare. The LPN/LVN will be responsible for administering skilled nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, following individual care plans and physician instructions, while upholding strict confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Regularly assess and report changes in patient condition to the supervisor and physician.
• Document all care activities, assessments, and coordination promptly.
• Participate in developing and updating nursing care plans.
• Implement appropriate nursing actions based on assessment.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• Additional state-specific requirements may apply.

Preferences

• Six months of recent experience in a clinical care setting.
• Home health experience is preferred.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good organization and conflict resolution abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
• Must possess visual and hearing acuity.
• Capable of responding to emergency situations.
