Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight. You will assign tasks, provide training and feedback, and maintain a positive and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Promote safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center or transportation preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
