Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Operations Supervisor I, based in Denver, CO, with ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. ABF Freight is a leading LTL carrier seeking driven individuals to join our expanding team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating resources to ensure the timely, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for freight loading and unloading.
• Maintain proper load plans for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks and monitor worker performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.
• Support a values-driven culture of integrity and excellence.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center, transportation, or related field.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
