Oncology Account Manager (Lehigh Valley)
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Oncology Account Manager to promote its products and build relationships with specialists in the oncology field within the designated region. The OAM will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, achieving sales targets, and fostering strong professional connections.
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers in Community Oncology and Academic Centers.
- Educate healthcare professionals on product indications.
- Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
- Organize meetings for medical exchange and product information sharing.
- Analyze territory trends and collaborate with Technical Staff to increase product revenue.
- Develop business plans and tactical strategies for the designated territory.
- Support company sales strategy and maintain ethical pharmaceutical marketing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior sales experience in Oncology.
- Strong knowledge of products and disease states.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Post-graduate business school study.
- 5 years of pharmaceutical specialty sales experience or 3 years of Oncology sales experience.
- Experience with Hematology, Solid tumor, AML, or Lung Cancer.
- Community Oncology practice and Key Account knowledge.
Physical Demands
- Frequent travel and computer use.
Work Environment
- Interactions in office environments with minimal exposure to noise or temperature changes.
- Flexible work hours may be required.
- Business attire for public interactions.
