Occupational Therapist - SNF

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Alice Hyde Medical Center. In this role, you will organize and conduct occupational therapy programs for patients in various settings like inpatient, outpatient, Nursing Home, and rehab patient areas. Your responsibilities will include planning therapy programs, implementing them, evaluating patient progress, and contributing to the continual assessment of the Rehabilitation Department.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs.
• Plan therapy programs for each patient.
• Implement therapy programs and aid patients in their execution.
• Evaluate, record, and report on patients' progress.
• Contribute to monitoring and assessing the Rehabilitation Department's functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an approved occupational therapy program.
• Licensed by the New York State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, Nursing Home, and rehab settings.
• Ability to supervise students and volunteers intermittently.
