Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Alice Hyde Medical Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed therapy programs to assist patients in restoring function and improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement individualized therapy programs for patients.
• Direct and assist in the implementation of therapy programs.
• Evaluate, record, and report on patients' progress.
• Conduct continual monitoring and assessment within the Rehabilitation Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an approved Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed by the State of New York.
• Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, Nursing Home, and rehab settings.
• Able to supervise students and volunteers as needed.
