Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Room at Grace Medical Center, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in compliance with established standards and protocols. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree from an accredited school, current RN licensure, and relevant experience in emergency services or acute care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients based on their physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to deliver quality care.
- Maintain clinical knowledge and skills competency.
- Create a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of Nursing Experience in Emergency Services preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazmat certifications within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.
