Job Description
ArcBest II ABF Freight is currently seeking a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Honolulu, HI. Our City Drivers play a crucial role in maintaining excellent customer relationships by ensuring timely and safe delivery of cargo.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, primarily located within close proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers following standard techniques and procedures, similar to a dock worker.
- Responsibilities and schedule may vary based on the terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training options available for those with less experience.
- Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Stable work history, strong work ethic, and safe driving record are essential.
- Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug screening and meeting DOT medical requirements.
