Quality Correctional Care is seeking a dedicated Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a crucial member of our medical and mental health department, you will play a vital role in providing counseling and treatment to corrections-involved individuals. Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and triages for patients referred by various sources.
  • Develop and recommend treatment plans, conduct essential treatment services, and provide suicide prevention interventions.
  • Respond to sick call requests, provide medication adherence, and participate in treatment team meetings.
  • Provide staff training on mental health topics and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a related field is required.
  • Licensure/certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
