Manager in Training

Job Description

Aldi is looking for a Manager in Training to join our team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. You'll be involved in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, identifying staffing needs, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while mentoring and developing the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team operations and performance for excellent customer service.
• Communicate and model company values to create teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer concerns and maintain store standards.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, training, and developing staff.
• Manage store budgets, conduct audits, and provide product feedback.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience with prior management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate equipment and meet state requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
