Job Description

We are looking for a Manager in Training to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to understand all aspects of successfully managing a store. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while nurturing and developing the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations to provide excellent customer service.
  • Implement company strategy and core values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution.
  • Maintain store appearance and product quality.
  • Participate in hiring, scheduling, and training of store personnel.
  • Manage store payroll and budgets.
  • Monitor market trends and suggest product adjustments.
  • Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Prior experience in retail, with management experience preferred.
