Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a talented Manager, GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities to join our innovative team. This role involves demonstrating extensive knowledge of the Clinical Development process and associated technologies, systems, and applications. The Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, producing, delivering, and supporting digital systems and technologies primarily for Global Clinical Development Operations and other R&D functions. Collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders and leaders, proficient communication skills, problem-solving abilities, technical expertise in clinical digital systems/analytics, and experience with clinical trial operations are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of digital systems supporting Global Clinical Development Operations.
  • Collaborate with various functions within R&D for the effective implementation and management of digital systems and technologies.
  • Deliver digital systems and Analytics/Reporting for GCDO.
  • Advise on technology solutions and analytics/reporting for optimal trial performance.
  • Identify and assess new technologies relevant to GCDO.
  • Maintain and manage digital systems on behalf of GCDO.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize digital system utilization.
  • Work with vendors/solution providers for system knowledge sharing and utilization.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for digital systems and contribute to enhancement plans.
  • Lead cross-functional projects representing GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft-based applications, CTMS, EDC, Operational Data Analytics, and other digital systems.
  • Extensive experience in clinical trials management and technology design.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Tableau, SQL, SAS, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry practices, clinical operations, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex projects effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Global mindset and cultural awareness.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical technology for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Working knowledge of FDA/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.
