Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Tech to join Hyatt House Belmont as a full-time team member. Hyatt House Belmont is part of the Highgate Hotels family, a leading hospitality management company known for its innovative approach. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a crucial role in the operation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including minor repairs and touch-ups.
- Maintain and repair ice machines, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and more.
- Handle plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and energy conservation tasks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, determine emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license for the applicable state is necessary.
- A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Driving Record specific to the property is required.
