Job Description
The Courtyard Keene is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team on the evening shift. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of equipment, as well as ensuring a smooth operation throughout the evening hours. This full-time position includes weekend and holiday hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Perform various maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, touch-up painting, furniture repair, and more.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on a range of equipment including refrigerators, HVAC systems, laundry machines, and more.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, determining the cause and reporting findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license for the state and acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record are necessary.
