Job Description
The Residence Inn Richmond is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment within our hotel. From changing light bulbs to performing preventative maintenance on guest rooms and various facilities, you will ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for various areas including guest rooms, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and more.
- Handle plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and monitoring energy conservation.
- Respond immediately to alarms, identify emergency situations, and report findings.
- Complete any other assigned tasks by supervisors or managers.
Requirements
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state and acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record are mandatory.
