Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join Homewood Suites Dublin. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure a superior guest experience. If you have experience in maintenance, particularly in a hotel setting, and possess technical skills, consider joining us in this full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment within the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks for guest rooms, such as vinyl repair, touch-up paint, and minor furniture repairs.
• Maintain and repair ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, pool, and hot tub.
• Handle plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and other small equipment repairs as needed.
• Respond promptly to alarms, determine emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure in a trade field (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license for the applicable state is necessary.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) specific to the property is required.
