Job Description
Homewood Suites Portsmouth is seeking a Maintenance staff to join our team. As part of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance tasks, such as painting, light plumbing, and preventive maintenance. You will collaborate with the Chief Engineer and assist with grounds and property upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform various tasks including changing light bulbs, performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and more.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, monitor energy conservation, and address alarms promptly.
- Respond to emergency situations and report findings to the Chief Engineer.
- Available for on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
