Job Description
The Residence Inn Bloomingdale is seeking a full-time Maintenance team member to assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. If you have experience in hotel maintenance or a related field and enjoy being hands-on with various tasks, then this role might be perfect for you. Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including minor repairs and touch-ups.
- Maintain various equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, and more.
- Handle plumbing and laundry equipment repairs, as well as monitoring energy conservation efforts.
- Respond promptly to alarms, determine emergency situations, and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete other assigned tasks and jobs under supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state required.
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific required.
