Job Description

We are looking to hire a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. As an LNA, you will have a profound impact on the lives of terminally ill patients and their families by providing hands-on care and emotional support during a challenging time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Establish trusting relationships with patients based on empathy, understanding, and respect for their individual needs.
  • Educate and support families, offering guidance and comfort throughout the care process.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
  • Compassionate nature and a commitment to providing empathetic care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
