Job Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the direction of an RN, provides efficient nursing care to patients, evaluates conditions, administers medications, and supervises patient care. The role contributes to care planning and ensures positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Position Highlights
- Evaluate patients/residents, observe conditions, and report changes.
- Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care by unlicensed staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Current or pending State Board of Nursing licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.
