Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide efficient nursing care and support positive clinical outcomes for our patients. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, contributing to care plans, administering medications, and supervising unlicensed staff.

Position Highlights

• Evaluate patients/residents, observe conditions, and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current license from the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if working at a skilled nursing center.
