Licensed Practical Nurse

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As the Care Team Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients under the supervision of the Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Manager. Your responsibilities will include maintaining smooth clinic operations, managing high-risk patients, providing patient education, delivering direct care, and performing triage services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate infection control practices, including standard precautions.
• Assess and address the comprehensive needs of clients and their families.
• Conduct urgent in-office and telephone triage.
• Document nursing care accurately using EMR.
• Facilitate communication among patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and perform procedures efficiently.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care to prevent readmission and complications.
• Maintain pediatric-focused education and training.
• Follow practice policies and procedures.
• Meet the physical demands of the role effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Adherence to HIPAA compliance.
• Proficient in using EMR, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Massachusetts as an LPN or RN.
• Hold current BLS certification and fulfill CEU requirements.
• Compliance with American Nursing Association Standards.
