Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with individual care plans and physicians' orders, ensuring high-quality patient care while upholding professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care following physician orders and established care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Document all care activities, assessments, and coordination promptly.
• Implement nursing care plans and take necessary actions based on assessment.
• Educate patients and families on self-care, disease processes, and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and nursing care compliance.
• Specific state requirements may apply.

Preferences

• Six months of recent clinical care experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Home health experience is a plus.
