Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Barlow Provo - Service Experts. As a member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light-commercial settings. You will work under general supervision to ensure that all work is in compliance with relevant codes and regulations, providing exemplary service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems professionally and accurately.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems ensuring proper functionality.
• Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Locate positions for pipe installations and cut openings as necessary.
• Fill pipes with water or air to check for leaks.
• Interpret blueprints and building codes to plan pipe installations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with plumbing work training.
• Four years' experience in plumbing repair and maintenance.
• Plumbing and/or gas license as per regulations.
• EPA and safety certifications.
• Knowledge of national, state, and local plumbing codes.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
• Effective communication and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift heavy items.
