Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

Join our clinical team as an Infection Preventionist -- LPN/LVN at Genesis Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for the Infection Prevention and Control Program at one or multiple centers. You will act as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator focusing on various areas including Infection Prevention-Control Activities, Outbreak Management, and Employee Health.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance and best practices in infection prevention.
• Analyze, control, and report infections to prevent outbreaks.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on infection prevention protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and night shifts.
