Job Description
L.L.Bean is seeking a licensed Industrial Master Electrician to join our team in Freeport. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $37.00 an hour with premium pay for night shifts, great benefits, a generous employee discount, and a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus. The role involves providing senior-level electrical maintenance functions, ensuring electrical safety, and supporting various industrial equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide second level support for complex electrical maintenance issues to all departments.
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated industrial equipment controlled by PLCs.
- Install, maintain, and support complex robotics, scanning, and vision systems.
- Upgrade and maintain power distribution and lighting systems.
- Handle Universal Waste per state guidelines.
- Act as a resource for projects, mentor junior electricians, and oversee contractors.
- Ensure electrical safety compliance and communicate effectively with team and leadership.
- Provide on-call coverage as required.
Requirements
- Licensed Master Electrician with 6 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in NEC and NFPA 70E regulations, and experience with PLCs and reading blueprints.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work at heights with personal computer skills.
- Valid state driver's license and ability to respond to on-call rotation.

Education & Experience
Vocational/Technical Degree or 2-Year Associate's Degree required with a master electrician license and 6 years of experience.
