HVAC Service Tech

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Service Tech to join the Stevenson-Columbus - Service Experts team. As an HVAC Service Tech, you will work under minimal supervision to perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls. You will analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems related to heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and providing excellent customer service while promoting products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyze and diagnose customer problems professionally and accurately.
• Diagnose and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote products and services.

• Report any unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards immediately.
• Correct substandard conditions within your control.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in safety initiatives and committees.
• Provide input on safety initiatives to prevent accidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 2-5 years of experience.
• Valid licensing and certifications as required by laws or regulations.
• EPA and safety certifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in HVAC systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in various environments and lift heavy items.
