Hotel Engineer PM (Short North Luxury)

Job Description

The Hotel Engineer PM at Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph is responsible for maintaining the property in top condition with minimum inconvenience to guests and staff. The ideal candidate will be hospitality-driven, hardworking, and committed to career growth.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system, including changing filters, cleaning coils, and replacing motors.
• Take readings on equipment and program televisions as needed.
• Perform various maintenance tasks such as replacing light fixtures, furniture repair, plumbing repairs, and painting designated areas.
• Repair and program the hotel's electronic lock system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible and long hours, handle heavy work, and communicate effectively with guests and employees.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, multitasking ability, and a service-oriented approach.
• Attend all required hotel meetings and maintain high standards of personal appearance.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
• Identify and solve problems, cross-train in other hotel-related areas, and maintain confidentiality.
