Job Description
Position: Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

As a Store Manager Trainee at Aldi, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of effectively managing a store. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, staffing management, and executing operational strategies. Additionally, you will mentor and develop team members to drive store performance and uphold ALDI's core values.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Supervise team operations to deliver top-notch customer service
- Understand and communicate company strategy and values
- Handle customer concerns effectively
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness
- Participate in hiring, scheduling, and training of store personnel
- Manage store budgets and payroll
- Ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders
- Oversee merchandising and inventory
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Knowledge of retail management principles
- Cash register operation and equipment handling
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Compliance with state and local alcohol handling regulations
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience
- Management experience is a plus
