Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be trained extensively on all aspects of running a store efficiently. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing schedules, and developing operational plans while nurturing and developing the team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Aldi's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Supervise team operations to provide top-notch customer service
• Communicate and model company values for a cohesive team environment
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues effectively
• Maintain store signage and product quality
• Assist in hiring and training store personnel
• Manage schedules and ensure proper staffing levels
• Conduct store meetings and performance evaluations
• Monitor store budget and total loss targets

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with retail operations and management principles
• Prior experience in a retail environment and management is preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of retail experience
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable
• Prior management experience is a plus
