Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are excited to announce a full-time position as a Store Associate at our new store location. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and any store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies for loss prevention.
• Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet local requirements for the handling and sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail is advantageous.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
