Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory procedures and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Competence in operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
